In 2016 Mark retired from Eastman Chemical Company and started Coaching Horizons to continue investing in the excellence of leaders. In 2020, Mark published Revealing the Invisible: Coaching the People You Lead to Discover, Learn, and Grow, an Amazon #1 International Bestseller.

Mark’s first intro-duction to Coach Wooden’s values, principles, and life lessons was reading Wooden: A Lifetime of Observations and Reflections On and Off the Court by Coach John Wooden with Steve Jamison. From there he fell in love with The Pyramid of Success for its simplicity, yet depth of wisdom. In the summer of 2017, Mark attended the first certification class in the John R. Wooden Course. It was a joy to spend a week soaking in the world of Coach Wooden with Lynn and the participants who attended the first certification class.

My first Wooden certification class in 2017

I met Bill Walton at the 2019 Wooden certification class. He is my all-time favorite basketball player and one who loved Coach Wooden.
